The Mood Club Rome Dress Code Guide for Men and Women
A relatively new club, Mood is a dynamic place popular with a young audience. It is not trendy or the most popular place to hang out in Rome but it certainly has its beauty. Quite affordable in comparison to other places in the city, the atmosphere is pretty relaxed and stress-free. There is no strict policy to follow or pressure to fit in, so you can just chill and enjoy your night. It is always buzzing with international music and full of thematic events. Recently renewed interior with a new management, it promises more fun and unforgettable experience than ever before.
The inside design is simple, nothing of exquisite or posh, but it is quite spacious with two large rooms with different type of music. There are also areas to have a break from the loud noise, where you can easily talk and have an energy recharge from all the dancing. The main dance floor is not that big so it can be a bit crowded. Yet, air-conditioning works so well that you won’t even notice the hot summer of Rome.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday, the Mood Club is hard to miss. It has a very central location, right in the middle of the triangle, between well-known Piazza Navona, Largo di Torre Argentina, and Campo de’ Fiori. Conveniently close to Campo where you can start your night, the club is a good place for an after-party, as it is open until 4 in the morning. The entrance fee may be sometimes a little bit steep but there are plenty of nights when it is free until the midnight (plus it usually free for ladies until 1 am). On top of that, it is vibrant with the buzz and international music and always attracts lots of foreigners.
Mood is considered to be a disco-club with the focus on hip-hop and R&B. The DJ always plays popular songs to sing along but also is very receptive to requests, which is rather amazing. There is always something going on inside, as there are all sorts of nights on various topics. Salsa nights, cartoon nights or Reggaeton tunes, it is unlikely to get bored.
The most popular time to visit the Mood Club is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. On Thursday it is particularly wild as it is the night for Erasmus people. So get ready to go crazy and meet a dozen of different nationalities inside. It can get seriously out of hand because Erasmus always knows how to party. Plus, it will certainly continue until the very closing time. So unless you have to wake up early in the morning and go to work, it is the place!
All in all, it is a good place to party and have some serious dancing. Great crowd, strong drinks, and awesome music, what else do you need? A good location and many transport connections afterwards, it is all here. Moreover, there is no particular dress code to follow, so just get something nice out of your wardrobe and you are all set to hit the Mood Club.
